Lesson Plans and Projects
Below are links to my lesson plans and the media that go along with each lesson. Also below are my Webquest on the Italian Renaissance and a link to my digital story on Dale Chihuly.
Students in an Art III class are just beginning to research artists that could possibly influence their own works of art. They need to be able to discuss artists and their style of artwork in order to later inform their critiques and dialogue between them and other artists. Intended for an Art III class.

In this WebQuest, students are asked to research an Italian Renaissance artist and six of their works of art, still in Italy today. They are then to create a Google Earth walking tour of the six pieces of artwork chosen. Intended for an Art III class.

This digital story is an example for students to see how they could use the elements of art when describing an artist's work or piece of artwork. After watching this teacher example, students will create their own digital story in which they talk about an artist's work, using the elements of art. Intended for Art I-V.
