In this fourth grade lesson, students were introduced to the idea of a candlestick holder, following along with lessons learned in their Social Studies class on Colonial Virginia. Students, after watching a teacher demonstration, created their own candlestick holders.

In this Prezi presentation, students are introduced to the two forms of sculpture: relief and in the round. They are then shown historical works of sculpture up to Ancient Rome. It also reviews with students about gesture drawing, which will inform their wire figure sculpture ideas.

This is a unit plan for an eighth grade Quilling project, in which the students learn about the art of paper curling. Students were able to choose from a list of subject matter and then, using techniques shown in class, create an image based on their own drawing.
